Growing up on the Adriatic coast in Rijeka, Croatia - the sea has always been home. Fifteen years on family motor boats; tying knots, reading the water, keeping a vessel running - all of it lives in my hands, not my head. The sea asks something of you in return too - strength, resourcefulness, and the grace to stay steady when conditions are not.
I come from a large, food-loving Croatian family. We have our own garden, and I grew up learning not just how to cook, but how to recognise truly good produce - what's ripe, what's seasonal, what's worth building a meal around. Cooking for a crowd, improvising with what's fresh, making people feel genuinely cared for - these are things I've done all my life. On a yacht, that translates directly.
After a decade in international project management across Berlin, Ljubljana, Salerno, Zurich and Kastav (Rijeka), working with people from all over the world, I'm bringing that same organisational precision, warmth, and adaptability to life on the water - where I've always belonged.
